Trusses

The company Strechy 92, s.r.o., is one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of wooden trusses. The state-of-the-art technological equipment and production capacity of the Czech production plant in Vlachovice is a guarantee of quality production and timely fulfilment of agreed deadlines.

High-quality technology = high-quality roof

These trusses are preferably used for roofing of family houses as well as for roofing of industrial buildings, warehouses and sports halls, administrative buildings and agricultural buildings. Wooden lattice trusses with contact plates are used for roofing of smaller and larger spans ( 6 - 30 m), and are suitable for simple and complex roof shapes.

These wooden trusses can successfully replace both classic frames and steel or concrete elements, over which they win with their lightness, price and ecological aspects. The design of the roof structure is documented by a detailed static calculation and the actual execution is then subjected to an output inspection before dispatch in the production plant. However, the biggest advantage is the very low price and the possibility of bridging even larger spans without the use of internal supports.

Benefits

  • Roof on a modern house? Trusses are the way to go!
-material savings compared to a classic roof frames
-truss spans up to 30 m
    -wide shape possibilities
-prefabrication production (year-round operation, precision machine production)
    -continuous quality control
-guarantee of the static design of the truss roof structure
    -short delivery times
-faster and easier assembly compared to the classic roof frame
    -low price
-low weight (per m2 of floor area) compared to a classic roof frame
-the lower strip of the truss replaces the construction of concrete or ceramic ceiling and thus provides a significant price saving compared to the construction of a solid ceiling. Simply by using a single structural element (lattice truss), both the roof and the ceiling are constructed. The lattice truss acts as a single unit and is therefore more load-bearing than the roof rafters and ceiling acting separately

Timber for the production of trusses

Do you know in what conditions the trusses for your roof are manufactured? Visit us and see for yourselves. We have been manufacturing trusses for more than 25 years.

We use certified structural lumber of strength class C24. Commonly used thickness of the timber for the production of trusses ranges from 50 to 70mm. In the case of dried and planed trusses, the standard thickness is 45mm. These profiles are artificially dried to humidity of about 18%. During the drying process, various forms of wood pests are eliminated and their further development is prevented. The dried timber no longer needs to be impregnated, which brings ecological advantages. Trusses made from dried and planed timber no longer work dimensionally and drying cracks do not occur.

Where necessary for static reasons, multiple trusses are used. The production technology used further minimizes losses when shortening the lengths of the wooden profiles, which is an advantage over classic trusses.

What makes us different from other truss manufacturers?

Most truss manufacturers have the simplest and cheapest technological equipment enabling basic production of wooden trusses. The company Strechy 92, s.r.o. has built a modern production plant with cutting-edge technology, which distinguishes it from conventional manufacturers of trusses. These are mainly:

  1. Production line with laser projection. By doing this, we can shape individual trusses with greater accuracy and place the contact plates more precisely during truss production. This in turn translates into a higher static margin in the load carrying capacity of the trusses.
Advantage for the customer: more accurate truss
  2. Automatic adjustment of the truss shape on the production line. This is important in projects with many types of trusses. The production of trusses is generally made more expensive by the need to create a "mould" for each new batch of trusses. For us, this mould is set by an automatic production line together with laser projection, which significantly reduces the production time of the trusses and increases the productivity of the work.
Advantage for the customer: shorter delivery times
  3. Pressing equipment at the output from the production line. In addition to the standard pressing of the contact plates on the Mark I hydraulic press, the trusses are additionally pressed on the output roller press at the output from of the production line. This is a superior operation that provides a check pressing of the contact joints.
Advantage for the customer: safer product
